The Simpsons & Stuff - Better Than BiMonSciFiCon

Conan O'Brien to Return to the Simpsons?

So, I am wondering...now that Conan O'Brien is looking for work, could he go back to writing for The Simpsons? Those were the glory days after all.

Let's look at the episodes that Conie wrote.

Simpsons' Season 20 Coming Out Before 13-19 -- Why Bother?

A month ago, 20th Century FOX Home Entertainment announced the upcoming release of the first Simpsons' season on Blu-ray, but don't get excited yet, since it is last season, the stinker 20th, that is coming out in in all its High Def glory.

I mean, I guess I can see why Fox would want to skip releasing the Simpsons' Seasons 13 through 19, as they were not much to write home about (or here either). But last season was a snoozefest and just lame for the most part. I am racking my brain trying to remember a funny moment, so I checked out a run-down of the season, and I audibly groaned while reading synopses for such unmemorable episodes like the one when a younger Ned and Maude try to keep Homer and Marge celibate before marriage (huh? -- exactly). Or that painful episode when Moe dates a little person and his shallowness ruins his last stab at happiness

Simpsons Showing Age in Season 21

I can remember a time when I used to get excited about a new Simpsons season. I didn't even bother to tune in for this season premiere, for the 2nd or 3rd or 8th time. I did however catch the above, the second episode of the 21st season ("Bart Gets a Z"), and wow, it had a glimmer of a hope when the kids decide to get Krabapel drunk, but then what the damn hell ass happened

Futarama's Future Complete with Original Cast

I don't know if you have been keeping up with the news lately, but there was some hub-bub over signing on the original cast for the illustrious return of episodic Futurama. I mean, can you imagine Bender not voiced by John DiMaggio?

This is what he looks like in real-life, in case you were wondering

Nancy Cartwright is Crazy, But Gotta Love That Voice

You may have run across an earlier post regarding our beloved Nancy Cartwright, otherwise known as the voice of Bart Simpson, being a Scientologist and donating a very large sum of money to that crazy Thetan-wanting cause.

Now, it seems that Cartwright is using her talents to directly appeal to those who may be crazy enough to attend a Scientology function. Check it out

Matt Groening Leaves Artwork as Tips

Ok, so most Simpsons' fans know that Simpsons' creator, Matt Groening, is from Portland, Oregon. And it seems that Groening does in fact still live here, at least part-time.

Some time ago, Groening visited the restaurant that I work in, and he left this awesomeness behind when he left
