Lil' Bush Returns with New Episodes
Anyone happy to see new episodes coming out? I am. But then again, I spend a good majority of my time watching cartoons.
If you haven't been able to catch it, it's on Comedy Central. I didn't quite like it at first, but it has definitely grown on me. Mmm, that's good satire.
I especially enjoy the new set of promos for the new/second season. The one in which Lil' Bush makes the comment about a black guy in the oval office asking for change..."Sorry, Obama, I'm keeping my quarters." If this ad is any indication of the second season's potential, I feel pretty positively about it.
After all, I think most shows need a solid two seasons to really come into their own, and yes, even the venerable Simpsons fall into this category. The first season is good and all, but the show didn't feel comfortable with itself until mid-way through season two.
Although I think that South Park is the best example against this paradigm. Family Guy, American Dad...not really funny until Season Twp, but South Park started strong and only became better.
Drawn Together...never got funny.
Also, I hope you are all watching Frisky Dingo, by far, the best cartoon going on right now.
