Don't Mess with Roger the Alien
He's bitchy, sarcastic, expels a milky substance from his bosom during mating season, and drinks like Paris Hilton (both in quantity and type of drink).
After CIA agent Stan Smith rescues Roger from Area 51, the alien moves into the Smith family's attic. Longing for the finer things in life, Roger pines over his not-up-to-par surroundings, obsesses over celebrity gossip, and demands a constant supply of Chianti.
When the son of the family, Steve, cavalierly eats Roger's cookie, the Alien takes it so personally that he laboriously and pain-stakingly plots bitter revenge.
"I'm going to make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears."
Roger then sets up an eloborate hoax to convince Steve that he is not a true Smith and had, in fact, been kidnapped away from his real family. The Alien even sets up a meeting with Steve's 'real family'. While, of course, not being Steve's real family, these are the parents of an actual kidnapped child and are under the impression that they are being reunited with their long-lost child.
Man, oh man, Don't take Roger's cookie!
With that in mind, can't you guess Roger's occupation back on his home planet? You got it, he was a greeter at a Wal-Mart type store. Hum, I think I've come across greeters very much like Roger out there, actually.
This Alien enjoys a little quality time with the family which, to Roger, includes trying to pull a fast one over on his loved ones:
[Family is playing Scrabble]
Steve Smith: "Quivecs"? That's not a word.
Roger the Alien: It is on my planet!
Francine Smith: Is it a proper noun?
[pause]
Roger the Alien: Damn!
[rearranges letters]
Stay tuned to 'American Dad' to see more of this mischievous, junk food-binging, chain- smoking, drunk rapscallion who enjoys dressing in ladies' clothing or as a Jamaican Rastafarian (just to blend in with Earthlings, of course).

Nice to see another Family Guy fan. Oh well, guess we don't agree on American Dad. Glad you like Roger though.
What do you think of Klaus?
Celebrity Obsession
I love Family Guy and American Dad. Roger is my favourite....along with the goldfish.
I loved the episode where Roger went to the sci-fi convention and he was recognised by a guy who had been kidnapped by aliens, but lost his family because noone believed him (I think that was the episode where Steve and his geeky friends crack a code for Stan).
Funny stuff.
