I can remember a time when I used to get excited about a new Simpsons season. I didn't even bother to tune in for this season premiere, for the 2nd or 3rd or 8th time. I did however catch the above, the second episode of the 21st season ("Bart Gets a Z"), and wow, it had a glimmer of a hope when the kids decide to get Krabapel drunk, but then what the damn hell ass happened?
Krabapel never figured out she had been drugged by the class, a class with Bart Simpson in it...puh-lease. And frankly, I just stopped really watching. I mean it was on, but I decided to read my homework instead. Homework!? Is this how bad it's getting?
Maybe it's time to think about putting the Simpsons out to pasture...oh, wait, I just watched the ending. The new teacher freaking out and yelling "I hate children" is just stupid. Ok, the indigo pony line is almost funny. And maybe he hit on a truth with the line about life being only bearable with alcohol. Sadly, I believe I will need to be drunk in order to enjoy a new Simpsons.
